Who we are
This website is run by Im Not Messy Im Creative, a ceramics business owned by Anne Ohrling Dersen, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel).

In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Im Not Messy Im Creative. “You” means the customer, an individual buying for personal and not professional use.
What these terms cover
These terms apply to every order you place on our website for handmade ceramic pieces, ceramic classes and workshops, and gift cards.
By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. The terms in force on the day of your order are the ones that apply. We may update them, but changes do not affect orders already placed.
You can keep a copy of these terms by printing or saving this page.
Your account
You do not need an account to order. You can check out as a guest, or create an account if you want to see your order history and save your details.
If you create an account, please give accurate information and keep your password private. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
Our products
Our ceramics are handmade. Small differences in shape, size, glaze and colour are normal and are part of each piece’s character. Colours may look slightly different on your screen.
We describe and photograph each piece as accurately as we can.
Many pieces are one of a kind. If a piece is no longer available when we process your order, we will tell you and refund you within 14 days.
Our pieces are foodsafe unless a product page says otherwise.
Candle holders must be used with the right candles and never left burning unattended.
Plates and cups can be machinewashed but its recomended to handwash.
Lamps are assembled with pre-made electrical components.
Placing an order
First, choose your items and check your cart.
Then enter your delivery and billing details and check them carefully, because you are responsible for mistakes in the details you give us.
Next, check the order summary and click the button to pay, which confirms that your order carries an obligation to pay.
We then send you a confirmation email, and the contract between us is formed at that point.
We may refuse or cancel an order for a legitimate reason, for example a payment problem or an unresolved dispute over a previous order.
If the order is not in stock it will be produced after you have placed your order.
The production time may vary due to workload & availability but will not talke more then 60 days.
Prices and payment
Prices are in euros and include VAT where it applies. Delivery costs are shown before you pay and are not included in the product price.
The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.
Payment is due when you order. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout.
Payments are handled by our payment provider, and we do not see or store your card details.
Delivery
We deliver to the countries offered at checkout.
The delivery cost depends on the destination and the weight of your parcel, and is shown before payment.
Our ceramics are carefully packed. We will email you when your order is shipped.
Your purchase will be shipped no later then 60 days of your order depending on stock & production.
Delivery times shown on the website are estimates.
The risk of damage or loss passes to you when you or a person you name receives the parcel.
Orders outside the European Union.
Customs duties, import taxes and handling fees may apply in the destination country. Unless they are included and shown at checkout, they are your responsibility. Please check the rules of your country before ordering.
Damaged parcels.
Please check your parcel when it arrives.
If it is damaged, note this with the carrier when you receive it, and email us within 2 working days with photos of the packaging and the item as you received it. We will replace the item or refund you. This does not affect your legal rights.
Right of withdrawal (14 days)
For online sales to consumers the 14-day right of withdrawal is compulsory in France and across the EU.
The right of withdrawal covers distance sales (online, phone), not face-to-face purchases.
This does NOT cover:
-Made to order or personalised items,
-Classes and workshops booked for a specific date,
-Sales made in a market or in the Studio.
-Comssions or Sales to businesses.
If your order arrives in several parcels, the 14 days start when you receive the last one.
How to withdraw
- First, tell us clearly by email at imnotmessyimcreativeceramics@gmail.com.
2. You can also use the form at the end of these T&C to withdraw from your purchase.
3. Send the items back to us within 14 days of telling us packed well like hen you received them.
Please keep them in good condition and pack them carefully, because ceramics break easily.
4. You pay the return costs and are responsible for the pieces to be returned without damage.
We recommend a tracked and a insured service as a delivery option.
5. We refund you for your purchase after we have received the piece(s) in its original state.
You are responsible for any loss in value of the items caused by handling that goes beyond what is needed to check them.
Classes and workshops
(TBA)
When you book a class or workshop, the date and time are shown on the booking page.
Because classes and workshops are leisure activities booked for a specific date, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to them.
Our cancellation rules are:
If you cancel at least [7] days before the date, we will refund you or move you to another date.
If you cancel later than that, or do not come, we cannot refund you [unless we can fill your place].
If we cancel, for example because of illness or too few participants, we will offer you another date or a full refund.
Gift cards
(TBA)
A gift card is valid for one year from the day it is bought.
It is not issued in a person’s name. Whoever holds the code can use it, in one order or in several.
Enter the gift card code at checkout. If your order is worth less than the card, the remaining balance stays on the card for a future order.
If it is worth more, you pay the difference with another payment method.
A gift card cannot be exchanged for cash, resold or refunded once it has been used.
We are not responsible if a gift card is lost, stolen or used without your permission.
Each code is unique.
Copying a code or using one fraudulently will lead to the order being cancelled, and we may take legal action.
You can withdraw from the purchase of a gift card within 14 days, as long as you have not used it.
Our liability
We take reasonable care in preparing and delivering your orders.
We are not liable for any problem caused by something outside our control, such as a strike, a pandemic, international conflicts or other where a carrier failure or another event that could not reasonably be foreseen.
We do not promise that the website will always be available without interruption, and we are not responsible for third-party websites that we link to.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it, or limits your legal rights as a consumer.
Personal data
We collect only the data we need to process and deliver your order, manage your account and comply with our legal duties, such as accounting.
We do not send you marketing emails unless you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, limit and object to the use of your data, and to receive a copy of it.

You can also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.

Intellectual property
The texts, photos, designs and other content on this website belong to us or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright.
You may not copy, reproduce or use them without our written permission.

Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law.
If you live in another EU country, you also keep the mandatory consumer protections of that country.
